National Stadium is a home for Pakistani International Cricket. It’s the second largest stadium of Pakistan after Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. It’s established in 1955 and hosted first test between Pakistan and India from 26th February to 1st March 1955. First One-day Cricket match on this ground was played between Pakistan and India on November 21, 1980. The highest test match score of the ground is 313 runs by Yunus Khan against Sri Lanka in 2009. The largest total of a test match here is 765/6d by Pakistan against Sri Lanka in 2009.

It was a dream of Dr. Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Ziauddin Ahmed Zuberi (1878-1947) to establish a medical college at Aligarh Muslim University and his family made his dream true. ZU is affiliated with HEC and PMDC.

When they completed their medical education from Pakistan and then England, they decided to establish a private hospital in Nazimabad No. 2, The Baqai Hospital. Soon, the hospital became a general hospital containing 350 beds. Later on, Dr. Baqai founded “The Baqai Medical Complex” and Pakistan’s first “Rural Medical Center” on Karachi Super Highway.

After the death of her husband, she handed over the hospital to the Fauji Foundation in 1979. Now this hospital is on 2 acres and the beds are over 200. Treatment of soldiers is free in this hospital.

Advance telecom started its business from Karachi in 2001 and now its service centers are opened around the Pakistan including Lahore, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Peshawar, etc. Advance telecom received a “Best Sales and Distributor Achievement Award” in its 3rd year of business.
